Jeju Badang Tilefish is a product of Hallim Fisheries Cooperative, located in the seafronts of Biyang-do in the northwestern part of Jeju. The Cooperative immediately processes their daily catches from Jeju coastal waters, including tilefish, in a hygienic low-temperature processing and state-of-the-art refrigeration and freezing facilities to maintain freshness. Time is of the essence when it comes to quality seafood, for which they have set up a Fisheries Products Processing & Marketing Center (FPC) to achieve the quickest distribution.

On top of that, it is also loaded with minerals and is high in protein. Red tilefish was quite a precious ingredient back in the day, but it's relatively easier to get it on your table these days. You just need to ensure it was fished in pristine waters and processed at a sanitary facility. KIM'C MARKET presents Jeju Badang Red Tilefish, a product that has been reliably processed and vacuum-sealed under the supervision of Jeju Hallim Fisheries Cooperative. It is seasoned with sea salt that brings out the hearty flavor of the fish. Going the usual steaming and grilling is great, but how about getting creative and using it to make ted tilefish seaweed soup (miyeok-guk) with a delicious broth.
